I'm surprised no one has asked this yet.... What was the construction taking place at SHE? One clip showed a worker pounding on concrete or rocks. Further, a sign was posted on a side door asking the construction crews to not enter through or go near the kitchen.
What was being fixed? Surely the kids said something about how loud it could get.

They were building a Rock wall down the street from the school. Wasn't at school and as for construction at the school, they were always working on something but I didn't pay much attention. Didn't really need to

Where? Between the fire station and the school?
What construction company was doing the work? I found it strange that the crew was not interviewed as material witnesses. In the copter footage I didn't see any big equipment or trucks --where did they go and what time did they leave if you saw them. ---They were 'there' and then magically disappeared.. Maybe they had to go costume-change, too, to complete the ruse.

This construction was about 1/4 mile from the firehouse and school.

Is Dickinson Rd even 1/4 mile long? Which direction? Where? If construction was 1/4 mile from the school why would there be signs on the school's side door asking them not to go thru/near the kitchen? Lunch and bathroom breaks, the guys take their trucks and go to a restaurant.

Pink, there's not a lot around for them to actually GO to. Unless they went further down 25 or into Danbury or Monroe.
A lot of construction crews around here dont work on Fridays, so it's possible they werent even there.

There was a sign on the back door and if I remember it said (Contractors: Please Do Not Enter Through The Kitchen). This is coming off the video of Brendan Hunt..

"Contractors" is not a term exclusive to construction workers. They could mean food service delivery people, the hearing/ air service contractor, someone fixing the stove, all kinds of people. That sign doesn't mean there was active construction.

I believe the interview with the kid and the mason working behind him was at a park nearby. Up Riverside Rd. I don't remember the name but I guess a few folks gathered there. Kate or Mom could say.

Pinky, the sign is probably there all year long. Just because they decorated it with a pic of a sledgehammer, that doesn't mean it's exclusively for people carrying sledgehammers. It's to tell anyone who comes to the back door to please use the front.

Gina You have a valid point. My only question to that would be why have a sign for people that would be familiar with what they are to do IE food service or service contractor. They would probably have a ID badge to do work in there and be required have a background check in order to be in a populated school. I know The guys I have working in a populated school have to be fingerprinted. But it is just a question.

It's to tell anyone who comes to the back door to please use the front. You apparently haven't watched Brendan's video. Minor point, the picture has a hammer, not sledgehammer, on it. I'm talking about the video I posted above showing a sledge-hammer-wielding worker. Did you watch it? The location is not shown but the kid's body language (turning his head to the worker) indicates he meant 'these guys' were working at the school.. logical conclusion is the interview was at the school. Where ''down the street'' is the rock wall being constructed? kate, you didn't answer the question. I'd like to find it to see if it's school work or parks work. What other construction would have been going on? It bothers me that if these guys were at the school they just disappeared.
