Are there strangers still driving into the Sandy Hook, Newtown area just to look around, take pictures, ask questions? I am not talking about the media, just average people. Or after 3 months, has it settled down as far as that aspect of the case is concerned?

Through my family who lives there (I no longer do), it is my understanding there are still people coming through and asking questions.

I was behind someone from out of town obviously not knowing where he was going and walla!! He pulled into the firehouse lot, so yes!

I personally don't think people are going to go away. While it will not reach the notoriety of Dealy Plaza in Dallas, TX. if there is any question of what went down in Sandy Hook, people will continue to come. After the memorial is erected, more so. This event is right up there with the JFK assassination, World Trade center, etc. It captured worldwide attention!

I had a young guy start up a conversation with me in subway yesterday and sure enough he was from out of town and wanting to know about the school and the families. I called the police.

I called the police. Because some of these people are really out there and very malicious.

Curious....why did you call the police? Did he do something illegal? Many of these people are looking up address and going door to door. Asking inappropriate questions. I have been asked in the store if I was an actor and called a whore for putting my children through this for the profit of money. I do not know his intentions. The police can do that |

Sorry I have so many after thoughts , I am always scattered.
I just wanted to make sure that I was not implying that you all and those that come to question have ill intentions. Again it all comes down to how it is done.
Our safety was shattered 3 months ago an we are still very nervous . And if a lot of the malicious stuff that people say I have to be prudent for the safety of my children and community. We have had bomb threats. And so much more. It has scared an alread shaken town. I am not implying that anyone who question is crazy and out to harm us. I have actually been very impressed with the kindness and respect you all have shown me. Even if we don't agree. Thank you

I have a Sandy Hook address on my license and family in town and even I have stayed away... Some of the craziness - going door to door, asking questions to people you dont know - badgering others.... it's totally out of line

That's why the people IN S.Hook are the people who should be QUESTioning what is happening in their own town! There is such a ''secrecy'' and ''news blackout''--even in S.Hook--voluntarily!!..... It makes me wonder what ELSE is going on, and why... |
