So I was looking at a website that talked about the two schools. I noticed that SHES was down a road with only one way in/out (or at least that's how it looked) and that the new school is also down a road with only one way in/out. Both are kinda isolated too. Did that make any of the children nervous when returning to school? How about you as a parent?

No, the new school is located on a campus with two other schools. It is a one road in. But that has not caused any issues with my children. Some of the main issues is that it is two floors and when the upper grades move astound or move desks the lover grades hear the noises and get very scared. Slamming doors and so many more things that we could not even imagine set them off into panic . It is not uncommon to see a child or teacher leave the room in tears. This has been a tough adjustment and will continue to be.
This was a very good question, thanks for asking! I will try to find a link for you but there was an article in the Ct. Post that talked about the issues the kids are having in the school and it was very accurate. It was a few days ago.
