Anyone hear the story making the rounds the week following the shooting that Lanza went to the SHES the day before the shooting and got into an altercation with the staff, most of whom are now dead? The police apparently checked out this report and deny it happened. Odd story to come out. I don't have the story now, but it actually ID'ed the specific staff he had the altercation with. Bruce

I heard the same story on the news. Along with Lanzas mom was a teacher at the school as well. The news made a mess out of this.

One source, from what I am told, when the story comes out, will be a "little embarrassing" for the school. Whatever that is suppose to mean. There is nothing to indicate the shooter was buzzed in, unless it is something else, they are talking about.
I take such reports with a grain of salt, until proven. I have a feeling by this Friday we will know a lot more. Bruce

Adam wasn't buzzed in. He shot his way through. Early reports were wrong. Are you assuming or do you know this to be a fact?

Unless, being so close to 9:30am, those doors were never locked yet! I believe about 9:30am thereabouts was the normal time to lock the doors.
Then we run into the problem, if he did not shoot his way in, where/what was he shooting at for the principal and psychologist to run out into the corridor to see what was going on.
The office secretary is the key person to answer that question. From interior plans it looks like the office staff was in the position to see what was going on. Then again, I don't have blueprints/photos of the interior of the school so it cannot be confirmed.

I was told by office staff the day of the shooting that the door was locked and no one buzzed him in. No mystery here. He shot his way in.

There was a very interesting report from a mother who arrived at the school shortly after 9:30am. She parked in the lot, walked to the entrance where another mother was already standing and they remarked about the broken glass panel next to the entrance and how quiet it was. Then gunshots commenced. She hid behind a dumpster, I assume until PD arrived on scene.
This was the same person who stated the car doors on Lanza's car were open, and some clothing was on ground next to vehicle. I guess someone closed them as the helicopter video does not show open doors.
The problem I have with this is no way would law enforcement touch those doors. That's basic crime scene evidence 101. I did notice the closest anyone got to the vehicle was the cop with the bomb sniffing dog. That had to be done, He may have had bomb in there set to go off. I recall it was after dark when the trunk was opened to remove a shotgun.
Maybe one of Shannon Hicks unpublished photos that morning might show the Lanza vehicle. I guess we will never know.

Did the staff also tell you who and how they tripped the intercom? Thanks

The shooting was over by 9:30 or 9:38AM. How could the moms not hear gunshots?
