Erik! You would love them!!! They were created by the owner who was drunk one night after the bars and wanted a burger but didn't have buns! He only had tortillas! They are amazing!

Was the a bar in little Sandy Hook center that attracted all types? Sure. But the implication here was huge amounts of federal funds "changed" that. Sorry, but that is still goofy. Little Sandy Hook center has been spruced up a little in the last ten years, trying to attract people to the coffee shop and restaurant, etc., but nothing is changed that much. There are a few light posts and signs. Nothing dramatic. Since 12/14, partly due to the economy and partly due to the tragedy of 12/14 is the coffee shop and the restaurant have closed down. Sandy Hook businesses were hurt badly. Well, about 10 years.... You guys tell us-- spruced up for an actual movie that was filmed there? And the arson got rid of the 'biker bar', for lack of a better term? So there have been changes in the last 10 years.... individual improvements or part of a massive 'clean up the town' effort? federal or state award funds? movie set?

Someone send me a Burgerotto and I'll advertise them here. When you come for coffee we will do burgerittoville for lunch, carmanucci's pizza and then to the creamery for desert!

They will be, tuffy. They are staples and ALWAYS busy. Carminuccio's has been open since 97 and Burgerittoville since 2008 or 2009. I can't remember exactly what year they opened. Mom? Kate?
Mom, can I come too? lol Im only in Black Rock! I LOVE LOVE LOVE all those places you just mentioned. In fact, I may need to make a burgerittoville run this weekend. Mmmmmm now Im hungry! I might need to get a pizza to go, too. I need a little Carminuccio's in my life!

As far as I know and I have been here since 1998 there was no movie filmed there.

There have been lots of movies filmed in the are in the past 10 years. I believe one was filmed on the outskirts of Newtown - Reservation Road, I believe. I would have to check on that for sure. But nothing in downtown Sandy Hook or near the main area of Newtown
