I think it is important to start a list of how the crooksters benefit by these disasters.
- Gun control
- tourism
- funding - what type of funding did the community receive, security, mental health grief counseling,
- not for profit business
- entertainment
Please add what you can.

I think the money collected for Sandy Hook should go to the disaster areas like from Hurricane Sandy and now the Oklahoma tornado survivors. Why do families of those killed need money?!

The national average is $40,000 a household I was reading the demographics of Newtown and their average is like $98000 per household Newtown is very different than sandy hook. We have very wealthy and the just getting by. My average household income is nowhere near the 98K. But when you use these stats please also quote the average home price in our area. What I would call a starter home or a fixer upper is in the 300K. Our cost of living is very high here and so are taxes.
