I was checking out the funding arrangements by doing a search on grief counseling and came upon this article. The not for profits have so many tentacles set up for programs to tap into funding.
The first thing that I searched when Sandy Hook event happened was how much the State and community was in debt.

I have heard that as well and I think it was under Sandy Hook gets a new look but I think it had to do with Sandy Hook village which is OWNED by the government and has a population of about 300.
