Thank you Kate and Mom for putting yourselves out here for questions. I probably would have accepted the SHE shooting without question if it wasn't for the timing and the immediate push for gun control. How can you explain Sally Cox's statements?: "He was allowed entry because his mother worked there" "I recognized the shooter as the son of a very good kindergarten teacher" and then she went on to describe what a good teacher and person 'she' was? Sally was obviously referring to Janet Vollmer and her son Scott? Scott attended SHE and he graduated from Newtown High so it wouldn't be surprising that she knew him. She later changed her story but this was her original story.

Sally Cox has been pretty consistent in all the interviews I've seen her do. A reporter quotes her talking about the wonderful kindergarden teacher. If you listen carefully, the reporter asks her "if the young man, a kindergarden teachers son" was known to be a problem. Then the reporter asks if she knew "the suspects mother". If the reporter is accurately relating the conversation, it is the reporter who suggested to the nurse that the suspect was the kindergarden teachers son. It is also the reporter who says "their eyes met" before nurse ducked under the desk. I have not seen an interview with Ms Cox that says anything other than she saw his feet while crouching under her desk.

Gina I think you need to re listen to the video again....Actually listen to all of them again.....and while you're at it check out the transcripts of the interviews....Because I surely didn't hear the same as you....Also why would someone hide in a closet for 4 hours knowing the police were already in the building??....Also she was right at the front door?...hmmmzzz

Then you haven't seen all her interviews--two that I know of, and she contradicts herself. In one she says she and Adam looked each other in the eye then he turned and walked out, closing the door. Another time she says she was crouched beneath her computer table and saw only his feet 'facing toward' her.
If you remember, it was DARK--so late Dec. 14 evening-- when a woman reporter said she was downtown and saw two ladies helping a woman walk. She stopped them--the woman told the reporter she was the school nurse, had been there for 15years, and knew Nancy Lanza. --Said N.Lanza was JUST the kind of person you'd want as a Kgarten teacher, that she was a 'wonderful' Kgarten teacher... that she knew her very well... ---Really?? If she mentioned Adam in that conv, I don't remember; but she couldn't find enough flowery words to describe what a wonderful Kgarten teacher that Nancy was....

The reporter never once uses the name Lanza. She refers to the "gunman", the "suspect's mother" and the "kindergarden teacher's son". What am I missing? Why would someone hide in the closet for 4 hours? She was terrified. She said she peaked out and saw people that might have been police, but she wasn't sure, so she stayed hidden. I was once the victim of a crime and was afraid to open the door for the police. I was in an extreme state of paranoia, and in my mind, they were just as scary.

Maybe I haven't seen all her interviews. Please link the one where Ms. Cox says she and Adam looked each other in the eye. I've watched three, and she consistently says she saw his feet from her hiding place.

Do you mean videos like this one? Please watch it again. Notice that ONLY person who says that Ms. Cox says that Nancy Lanza was a kindergarden teacher is the NARRATOR of the video. The reporter does say that the nurse and gunman met eyes. Did the reporter misunderstand, make assumptions, or embellish the story for dramatic effect? Maybe. Did the nurse actually say that to this reporter? Maybe. We really don't know.

Gina, if the reporter misstated what Ms. Cox had said, Cox would have corrected her.

Do you see Ms. Cox standing next to the reporter (lady in the red coat)? lol, no.. i have to admit i'm partially wrong for tending to believe the story that is first told--until the 2nd story is told,,and then the 3rd, 4th, and 5th.

I personally tend to think the reporter with the red coat was one of the first to interview Mrs. Cox. And being still upset and traumatized the reporter either misunderstood some or imbellished to better the story. Or some of both!

I can't find where Sally said "he" was let in the school because his mother worked there. Anybody? Gina, you are correct that the red reporter lady was not doing an interview with Sally, but simply repeating what she was told. It would be very interesting to talk with her, cause one of them is lying. I haven't heard Sally call her out on it though, which I find interesting. And Gina, you are correct that neither Adam, Nancy or Lanza name was ever mentioned. In fact Sally never mentions names in any of her interviews. The maker of the scifake video above does and he is wrong.

The red coated reporter is Andrea McCarren. She lives outside of D.C with her husband. She refuses to discuss her story, so she was probably lying, or totally screw up what she was reporting. I swear, I heard about the shooter's mother being a K'garten teacher on Ct. news radio before 1pm that day. I think Cox was still locked in the closet then, unless giving interviews to reporters via cellphone. Bruce
